Loving You: A Women's Collective workshop

I have come to believe that taking care of myself is not self-indulgent. It is an act of survival.” Audre Lorde

Resilience is a psychological feature that contributes towards the prevention of the damaging effects of stress and compassion fatigue, often described as the ‘cost of caring’. As busy women, we owe it to ourselves to make this a life priority. After all, you can’t take care of others if you’re not taking care of yourself. Join Elizabeth Murphy and Emma Sullivan for an afternoon of self-care planning.

This session will include:
• Understanding the long-term effects of chronic stress
• How to develop a personal wellness plan
• Practical, evidence-based ideas for cultivating resilient thinking and emotional health
• Living in alignment with your cycle and using essential oils to nurture better self-awareness and care

Connecting You: A Women's Collective workshop

This workshop and pampering afternoon is designed for you and the special women in your life. Strengthen your friendships and family connections by learning the verbal and non-verbal skills for genuine connection and holding space for others. This workshop will also introduce you to the work of Dr. Garry Chapman and Paul White, allowing you to discover your own individual love and appreciation language and how this knowledge can enhance your personal and professional relationships with others. Facilitated by Rosie Overfield and Elizabeth Murphy, you will:

- Explore our psychological need for love and acceptance (and why we can sometimes not feel worth of it)
- Discover your preferred language of love, connection and appreciation
- Understand others’ preferred language and how you can improve your relationship with them
- Give you the opportunity to develop a personal profile to share with relevant women (and men!) back at home or in the workplace
