Rosie Overfield knows veterinary workplaces from the inside out. After more than 20 years working in the profession, including owning a veterinary practice herself, Rosie saw both the real challenges facing the profession and the enormous opportunity to create psychologically safe, sustainable and genuinely thriving workplaces.

Mindpod was founded in 2016 to provide veterinary workplaces with support grounded in real industry experience.

To achieve Mindpod’s mission, Rosie helps veterinary leaders navigate the intersection of good governance, strong people systems, effective leadership and team capability. With Masters-level qualifications in human resources and organisational development, and both extensive executive and ‘in the trenches’ experience, Rosie is known for combining strategic thinking with trauma-informed, grounded service delivery.

Her approach is warm, honest and deeply collaborative; helping organisations build healthier cultures, stronger leaders and equitable and effective systems so all people can do their best work.
